Ice Explorers

Welcome to our Intro to Learn to Skate Program, Ice Explorers!

This program is designed for children ages 3 to 5 who would benefit from a gentle introduction to ice skating and to group skating classes.​

The program consists of six 30-minutes weekly sessions.  The first 3 sessions are off-ice sessions only.  The last 3 sessions are on-ice sessions only.

During the off-ice sessions, the children get acquainted with the facility, the ice rink, and the Zamboni.  The children will play games to get them comfortable with following instruction, and with working on motor skills and moves that will be practiced during the on-ice sessions.

This is not a rolling enrollment program; thus, the student will be scheduled for the 6 sessions at the time of enrollment.  There are no make-up sessions for missed appointments.

To participate in the program, the student must purchase a Learn to Skate Ice Explorer packet.  The packet provides:

• Attendance to six 30-minute sessions.

• Arts and crafts used during off-ice sessions.

• Skate rental is included for the 3 on-ice sessions

• Tuition:  $100. Tuition is non-refundable.

• Advanced enrollment and reservations are required.
