Hockey IQ On-Ice Classroom

Program that uses small area games in a controlled scrimmage manner to teach players the most important aspects of ice hockey: Time and Space

Small area games are proven to provide players with more puck touches than full ice drills and games, which means more skating with the puck, more passes, more stick-handling, more puck control, more puck retention and more shots on net.

With Loudoun Ice Centre's two 75" TV screens directly above the rink, our coaches can stop play and show players video of their action and analyze positioning and their on-ice decision making.

Program is limited to 12 players and 2 goalies for each age group.
